I'd add that Scarface on Wii is also very good (hell, it's very good on Xbox, too).

^Agreed.  Scarface makes a great follow up game to Godfather.  Controls aren't quite as good but other factors make up for it.

It was a good game on the wii, but Im not sure if it was released now I would like it as much because when it came out their were not that many wii games to choose from.

Scarface may also fill your fix for a gta clone.

not a bad game, but I couldn't bring myself to play it more than once, though that one time was very fun - I just didn't want to do that again at all.

The motion controls in Godfather (and Scarface) are a ton of fun. They really elevate the game to a whole other level. Shame it didn't sell better but I'm really hoping we'll see Godfather 2 on Wii because that would be awesome to have a full sandbox game built from the ground up for Wii.

Otherwise Godfather is a decent game, not as free as GTA or as much fun but certainly enjoyable and a great deal at it's current price.

I thought it was a good fun game that you can find for $30 or even just $20. The Godfather is well worth the price. I'd love to see Rockstar try a GTA game on the Wii. I think it would certainly be worth the risk as the game would sell plenty.

Yeah, I wouldn't let my kids watch me play it either.
