No it's not. I think it's nice that we try to group games together in a nice little generalization when someone insults us, like 'oh your game is the same' but really it's not. You would never, ever, nor anyone you know, in a thousand years, beat me at one round of Tekken.

However, it is very likely that out of 20 rounds in SC, my 13 year old brother would beat you at least 2 or 3 times.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Why would you listen to Famitsu? They base scores off of what the community wants. Besides, it's not like a 31/40 is low anyways.

I said worrying, I didn't say damning. Famitsu is just as credible as any of our crap review sites. They do the same thing, they just don't have the guts to admit it.

OK...but I still prefer Tales. If, say, I had a PS3 or 360 I'd completely avoid SC IV but if there were Tales on it (360 has Vesperia...) I'd buy it ASAP.

I agree, Tales is better, imo. However, I still like SC, just not as much.

but in tekken if you choose hwoarang(whatever his name was)all you need to do is keep on pressing triangle or scircle and he would do all his tricks, also with eddy(i forgot the girls name that replaced eddy)all you need to do is mostly use sircle and the d-pad.

i preffer soul calibur a bit more, also cause of the side step it has it better

Well that's fine. I got nothing against Soul Calibur. However, I will say there is a pretty big difference, and you can't beat anyone good by randomly pressing buttons.

I play a lot of games, as you all know, and Tekken is the only one that I consider myself "excellent" at. I'm not just Tekken fanboying out because of the immediate post here. I have backed Tekken since I've been on VGChartz, and I probably know more about the franchise than most people, which is why I feel qualified to compare both franchises so viamently.

What I don't get is not that the game is being made available to all (that is a smart move) but rather the reason for the vehement denials about this almost two weeks ago when Ars Technica reported it.

Mike from Morgantown

PS -- It will be interesting to see on which system this sells more.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

I agree with you, even among 3D fighters exists more strategic ones that only smashing buttons for all, some people thinks that SC gives more depth gameplay but I prefer the Tekken treatment, counter precisely for break some combo or wait for the exact opportunity to attack and how do you slash a rampage,by the air, breaking defenses,throwing...

I only want that Namco could make the life bar a little more large for Tekken 4,I want some extend fighting sessions,I'm looking forward to play against you, could I beat you?Well, if you get this for the PS3

You keep on talking how good of a game Tekken is, but you know that I think that it is a bad game. Has the company that makes Tekken ever made a good game?

^well soul calibur is the best fighting series next to SSB

I'd take Tales over Soul Calibur any day. I don't care about fighters.

No one cares what you think. Soul Calibur 4 will sell better and probably get better ratings than Tales 2. If you don't like fighters that's fine, but Namco is not stupid.

Tales takes a steamy shit on Soul Calibur any day of the week and Soul Calivur IV is no different. The day it's release there will be a nice pile waiting for it.

OnTopic: Is anyone surprised that a Capcom game isn't exclusive? I mean it was registered as multiplat to begin with. People acting like this is a big deal or detrimental to the Wii are probably trolls.

Sweet. Now everyone can enjoy Megaman. The world is right again.
