I really don't know what to take of this. Wonder how it plays.

Konami/Kojima never once said that MGS4 would go to other platforms. At worst Konami said before last years E3 that they would like to keep it PS3 exclusive but PS3 lacking sales may force their hand. Since then Sony claimed they "struck a deal with Konami" and since then both Konami and Kojima have been adamant that MGS4 is PS3 exclusive.
This is more a case of Mikami and Capcom than anything else.
| trestres said: Lol how stupid can people be... All bragging about MM9 being Wii exclusive, and now this happens. Good thing I never got my hopes up. There's no way any 3rd party besides Namco will take the Wii seriously this gen. |
Namco isn't really taking the Wii seriously... Where is Soul Calibur 4? It sold great on GC and know, we don't get it. We get a crappy spin-off instead.
OT: I couldn't care less if it's exclusive or not as I never had any interest for Mega Man but it's nice to see a retro game. Putting the emphasis on level design rather than flashy graphics seem like the way to go to me.
How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...
lol godot... check what games is Namco bringing to the Wii before saying it isn't taking it seriously.

Bets with Conegamer:
Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.
So much 2D platforming goodness has come out for Wii lately... this is great!

Ok fine, I will agree this is like that, well Capcom if you fuck up with Keiji Inafune, I will personally stop giving a damn about you.

i knew this would happen,im glad i didnt get to hyped for it
Not surprising. PSN and XBLA showed there is an audience for old school games.
Now Capcom could also give the Wii Street Fighter 4 along with the other versions, since VC showed there is an audience for those games as well. I mean, people did buy the Street Fighter II games on the VC, right?
BTW, anyone know if sliding or the mega buster is in this game?
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs
This is good news. Mind you, I still think the wiimote's the only way to play it, for the full nostalgia effect, but I'm happy that non-Wii owners can join in the fun.
im all for nostalgia but i could never imagine playing a game with such basic visuals on a system i paid 250+ for. Why are people mad its not wii ware exlucisce it doesn't effect how good the game is be gamers not fanboys.
