I don't think what DJMeister says is true.

It's perfectable reasonable to buy a system and be disappointed with it...plenty of people buy on whims, or they get bored of a certain console...it happens to everyone.

I own a Wii and still like it, but I don't play it nearly as much as my PC anymore, and I don't see too much in the rest of the year for it.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

All mods should own a DS.

I have one...

For those who think it's important: I will have one of the HD systems as well. It's about the games, and I NEED to play RE5. And Beyond Good & Evil as well.

All humans should own a DS in fact.

I'm glad that someone has started a thread about this very serious issue. You're seeing a lot of ps360 fans getting banned vs. Wii fans. It seems like being critical of the Wii in any way shape or form is a good reason to be banned on this site. Yes the proportion of Wii fan moderators is not appropriate for a site of this nature in my opinion. I brought it up with ioi on his wall and I'm sure he would not want the validity of his site to be compromised.

The amount of biased moderators that should be controlling this site: 0

Good lord how is this topic still active?

Whatever the case, it's easy to end: Kefka beats Sephiroth beats Kratos beats Master Chief beats Montana.

LeetGeek - I think the problem is HOW the criticism is delivered. From what Ive seen, most anti-wii posts are "LOLZ the wii is for soccer moms and little girls", which really has no bearing to the industry, the system or its demographic at all. The XB360 gets criticized for RROD, which has been a problem for many XB360 owners, and is talking about an actual flaw in the hardware. The PS3 gets criticized for its high price or just simply for the errors Sony committed this generation and blowing what was thought to be a sure win at launch.

It comes down to a matter of how the conversation is held. There's a ton of intellectual Wii criticisms, such as graphical abilities, friend codes, shovelware, etc, that do not get erased or those posters banned. The mods are just trying to get rid of the people that make this site look like the Gamespot.com forums. VG Chartz is far above that, and blatant ignorance/abuse isn't tolerated.

Some of the most one sided posters on the site have claimed to own multiple systems. Just owning multiple consoles has no correlation with fairness or bias as far as I can tell.

And they're definitely liars.

If you go out and buy all three consoles with your hard-earned money, there's no way you will not like it. Cause if you did, you wasted money.

I went and bought the 360 and Wii and love them.  If someone would go out and buy all three consoles, unless they were filthy rich, would not be overly biased to any console.

Well that's just not true.

I rushed out to buy a PSP and i hate it to this very day.

Key word: Rushed.

Had you made an informed decision on what you wanted to buy, you wouldn't have rushed out and bought the system.  But I'm talking about biased people, and you're not a biased poster.
