Learn one thing.
The winner of E3 will depend of whether the developer of your choice shows you something interesting.
Example. If Square Enix show off Final Fantasy XIII then they will win E3 in my eyes, no matter what any other developer does.

| Gearbox said: I love how people thing Animal Crossing is a big deal at E3. E3 is most popular in the west. Europe kinda is into it and Japan doesn't care for it. ANIMAL CROSSING did really well in japan totaling more then others and america combined. Unless they hype this game a LOT at E3 it won't make much of a difference. |
So, you're claiming this game WON'T sell more copies than MGS4?
In fact, it'll sell so many less copies than MGS4, that it will no longer be a big deal, or a significant game.
Despite the last 2 selling 3 and 10 million units respectively?
You just wish it wasn't a big deal...isn't that right?
If not, do you wish it was a big deal?
Or are you just biased?
What are your feelings towards Nintendo, also, who do you think will win E3?
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.
One of the interesting things to see will be if Animal Crossing takes advantage of the additional technical resources that are available on the Wii (all previous versions are essentially N64 games) and what features they have added.
Really, Nintendo is so far ahead of the others right now that its theirs to lose. Maybe they could do it by having Miyamoto talking about his Wife-O-Meter again and only showing Pet Catz 3 but Animal Crossing for the Wii will be hugely popular, as will be Kid Icarus. Sony might have a chance to steal the show with a new PSP or FFXIII, but the chances of that are pretty unlikely.
Wow Gearbox. Thx for the totally pointless post. Do you want to see the game fail?
OT: This will probably be one of the biggest selling games from E3 coming. I mean, LOTS of people thought Mario Kart Wii would perform lackluster. It's now well on its way to become the best selling exclusive of this year and one of the best of this generation.
Damn things have changed since 2009 began. Here are my new visions for the end of the generation.
Wii: 135 mil
Ps3: 85 mil
360: 60 mil
I think it's too early to definitively say Nintendo won as well, but given their tendency of secrecy until the very end, they'll probably have something huge to show.
E3 can't be won until it happens. There is a good chance Ninty will win E3 (probably a higher chance than either MS or Sony) - but until it actually happens, no one has won anything.
Any of the companies is capable of pulling some amazing news out at the last minute.

Hell no. I remember how Animal Crossing 1 let me down because it let me think it was gonna be set in a city with a contry side. It was just the country side. Hopefully they'll add that to the new one, but i believe its gonna be the same concept of running town trading carpets, digging holes, catching bugs, grow plants, fish, fill up a museum, sell junk to a racoon... Yawn, they better make it a new experience this time around.

Whether you like the game or not (for the record, I'm personally indifferent) you can't deny that it's a huge IP, with the DS version selling over 10 million copies. For Nintendo to leak it this early tells me that they've still got goodies in reserve, and I think many other people are thinking the same, hence the enthusiasm.

I think that they are going to focus on online (A big lost if they don´t) intead of pushing the graphics, still, I would love to be wrong on the graphics part...
