Whether you like the game or not (for the record, I'm personally indifferent) you can't deny that it's a huge IP, with the DS version selling over 10 million copies. For Nintendo to leak it this early tells me that they've still got goodies in reserve, and I think many other people are thinking the same, hence the enthusiasm.
