who thought that either of the grand theft autos or mgs4 would be the top seller of 2008?

here is what people predicted. notice that mgs4 has the highest even though it has the lowest sales right now. i know its only been out for 3 weeks but i highly doubt that by the end of the year it will outsell the likes of smash bros, mario kart, and wii fit. this might sound like nintendo fanboyism but it's true. mgs4 would have to sell roughly 153k MORE a week to beat either smash bros or mario kart. the gta4(360) prediction is understandable seeing as it is in 3rd place right now but it wont stay there for long.

overall what i noticed is that the nintendo sales were underestimated and the ps360 sales were too hyped up. my rankings might change but only by a 1 (max 2). the last 3 will probably stay the same but the top 3 will stay the same, they just might change order. i understand that this is a prediction and its not supposed to be 100% accurate but come on. is vgchartz completely overrun by fanboys? or are we all just bad at predicting?

now its the fanboy talking. nintendo PWND. the top 3 games are all nintendo. even more nintendomination. one small step for man, one giant leap for nintendo.



the nintendo wii will outsell the ps3 and the 360 combined by the end of 2008.                           

        PS3 will out sell the 360 june 2010.                                                                      

  GOTY of 2008 is super smash brothers brawl.... hopefully.

I voted Mario Kart, but I see that the one most likely to move most units this year (MK) was voted the least likely to, it seems all backwards from where I'm sitting.

There are apparently some stupid people who answered the as if it was "which game do you want to win?" rather than "which game do you think will win?"

How Mario Kart got so few votes, however, I cannot even begin to speculate. It will probably win.
