"Additionally, we found out a few months back that Monster Hunter 3 was canceled for the PS3 and moved to Wii. The main reason that we heard about seemed to be relate to high development costs of creating a PS3 title, yet Svenson has noted, “It was a strategic decision set by the team and our Japanese management to address an emerging market on the Wii. At the time the decision was made, it was in reference to the Wii market in general, no particular sub-segement thereof.” So, the idea of saving money was definitely a motivating factor, but the fact that the Wii has been a dominant force in the gaming market seemed to influence the decision significantly, too."

Wowee waa wooo!? Tha't pretty nice of him to say.

They are, you just don't know about it yet. But expect lots of good stuff from the Japanese devs. Today: Tales of main series to Wii, Last week: Mega Man 9 to Wii.
The Japanese Wii domination is much bigger than the rest of the world, so the switch will be much more clear from Japanese developers.

That game would not have sold on 360 and propably not that much on ps3 either. Because it will not sell outside of Japan, wii was the obvious choice for them.

At the same time this isn't just limited to Monster Hunter ... More and more publishers are devoting more and more resources towards the Wii and we have seen a steady increase in the number of quality titles announced as a result.

Well you never know.  I mean look at the PSP sales since the monster hunter game came out for it.  This could have been the system seller that PS3 really needed in Japan.

Il allow anybody who wants to spit in my mouth if we wont see a PSP MHF game released less then a year after the Wii version ... lol getting one even before it would be plausable ...
