SDF is a joke site making fun of fanboys, for the most part.
I think the most pathetic have to be all the countless (Insert Console name here) doom is coming next month predictions. There are odd ball numbers being thrown around, but sometimes I wonder if the people saying them really believe them, or are saying things that they know will get them noticed.
Its the people that came in and truely thought that the PS3 would die in 2008, or would not be able to get its bloated R&D soaked corpse through X-Mas 07. Those were the really bad ones.
You can see where people in the beginning were coming from for the Wii, completely different style of gameplay, untested and people were looking at Nintendo getting thrashed for the last two generations, of course after it started selling out they should have shut up.
The 360 also had its reasons, mostly just RROD. Though its always going to sell to its base. Most of these were silly predictions of doom too.
So I guess I vote for a genre of bad predictions, the this console is going to die next week! one. I doubt there will ever be another 3DO or Jaguar.
I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.
