And yet, it just doesn't matter. As you've pointed out, even if the Wii is still behind the 360, or if it's not yet clear, the Wii will be the clear winner by the end of the year. There will be no way to cast doubt, no questions, nothing. Just dominance.
And MS will still come out and feed some bullshit. Maybe it is hard for them to admit that they're the loser again this generation, but eventually they'll have to stop saying that their competitors can't sell games or that 9 year olds buy Wiis (he suggests that during the same interview). I think Nelson media stated that the average Wii owner is older than the average 360 owner.
One thing that is clear, however, is that the Wii is selling software way, way faster than the Xbox 360. It's especially impressive for it to have crushed the 360's stronghold in such a short period.
