You can't have both, 60 FPS is extremely difficult in games like shooters, producing mostly noticeable lag at certain multiple explosions and 1080p is possible, but to have both, highly doubted. if thats possible than the PS3 is definitely next gen 100%

And I wonder why Insomniac is making Resistance 2 30fps when R&C was 60fps. I'd much prefer 60fps for a shooter over a platformer.

 

The demo for R&C had several areas where the framerate stuttered a lot. Are you sure it hits 60fps?

 

 

Well it was only a demo.  The demo also had some screen tearing, something thet neither RFoM nor R&C had in the final build.

Insomniac announced on theFull Moon Show prior to R&C's release that the game would be 60fps.  They also stated that all upcoming titles would be 60fps, though they must've changed their minds later on for Resistance 2.
