How about when all you have to show for your game is really pretty graphics at the moment it's a dumb decision to not show said pretty graphics?
Also if you actually believe the 13 and 1.3% numbers DJmesiter... i don't even know what to say.

It's not that it wouldn't make money.... it's that it would make butloads more on the Wii if they really felt like throwing FF7 out there.
I said 5 million myself. The question is... will 13 hit 10 million with the Ps3's currently limited userbase. FF10 sold really well with a small userbase but only around half upfront.
While the other half was due to legs. The question is will the PS3 FF10 have the same legs with a less successful cosnole.
Don't really know. Nobody does. Since Final Fantasy has never been on the losing console.

I'm playing 7 for 10 years now, I've got 8 original copies; you can't be much more fan of the game than I am. And I tell you, last thing I'm waiting for is playing my precious game with Wii controls. But now someone will say that Square can also release it on the Wii without giving the game 'Wii controls'. Anyway, why did Square put Crisis Core on the PSP and not on the handheld with easily the greatest userbase, NDS?

why is the new DQ coming to DS then? and not PSP? all other DQs were pretty much Sony..

And you're not a wii fanboy? So if people saved $600 to buy a ps3, it means they have an extra $300 to throw away? FFVII remake isn't happening. The DS or wii may get a port but thats about it.
The FFs in the ps1 generation haven't been ported because they're still playable if you have any PS console so its unlikely that even a port will be made. Just forget FFvii for he next few years.

Only 2 of the 8 DQs on the Playstation were original releases deathcape. And Soriku, so the Game Boy was a more than huge hit, also the GBA, so why didn't Square put CC on the GBA or it's successor the DS? You don't think it has anything to do with the hardware capabilities of the PSP? I do.

DQ is a huge JP game..not so big here..so yeah...if we assume the new DQ will be released in JP also (I think so anyway XD)
then they switched..
and about hardware and capabilities YES it has to do with that....to a certain extent oh wait...what about KH for the GBA...
