I didn't expect everyone to agree with me on this.

Huh, why not? RE4 is among the best games ever.

Around the Network

RE4 for by a huge margin

I always found Gears of War overrated

Both are in my all-time favourites... I can't choose...

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

RE4 is a better game, but i would rather play Gears because it has online and you can play with your friends.

RE4 because nobody thought it was going to be good. It was hyped but no one thought it was going to make the impact it did.

Gears of War was practically shoved down everyone's throat.

Resident Evil 4, by a long shot.

Resident Evil 4, one of the best games ever.

While Gears is a great game that will be remembered 10+ years from now the same we remember games we loved 10+ years ago RE4 (especially the Wii version) is just plain better.

Up to this point, it's nearly unanimous for RE4. I completely agree.

Switch - Super Mario Maker 2 (2019)
3DS - Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (Trilogy) (2005/2014)
Mobile - Yugioh Duel Links (2017)
Mobile - Super Mario Run (2017)
PC - Borderlands 2 (2012)
PC - Deep Rock Galactic (2020)

I don't know about the Wii version and it's enhancements, but I didn't care for the PS2 version of RE4 when I played through it.

It wasn't bad, but I haven't found it to be nearly as great as others have found it.

Compared to Gears of War.... I'm not really sure which is better. I felt both really started dragging as I went through them.
