According to Famitsu TOS: Dawn of the New World has sold 151k in its first week. I'm a little bit disappointed because I expected better sales for the entire week, since first day sales were about 120k. 

I hope it has legs.

I'm surpirsed at the HW boost the Wii got, close the 20k I think. PS3 holding ok and 360 even doing "better". Come to think of it, everyone got a boost except PSP (but its sales remain excellent) and PS3 (but it is still selling way better than 3 weeks ago), any reason for this HW boost (Tales for the Wii I guess, but DS and 360?)?

The sales are dissapointing, I don't think it will have good legs. For the record though, 19k across all of Japan is supply constrained. Judging by the 120k first day sales though, the demand obviously wasn't a whole lot higher than what it sold EVEN IF it was supply constrained.

If VGC has the same hardware numbers, the Wii does a 500K week. Well done Wii.

The PS3 drop was less than I expected. I was thinking 12-15K.

under the assumption of more than 10% left is considered "supply constrained"

under the assumption that somehow second shipment never got there.

 

yes, I suppose one could jump to defend poor sales of 2nd/3rd day of game of their console without much reasoning behind it.

I don't know about this, if the first shipment sold out and sales were 120k first day, I think they might be lowballing this. Still I'll wait for VGC and MC numbers, they are always different.
