From the look of these numbers I think the increase in production for the wii has kicked in. I expect 380,000 sold wiis a week troughout the summer world wide.

Well maybe yall are underplaying some of the wii software. I mean maybe Alone in the Dark, Rock Band, and Top Spin 3. Hell Wall E is perfect game to help push some sales and not to mention Big Beach Sports released this week as well which surprised us all in E/O mayber here as well. I mean it's not like Wii was lacking software this week and possibly we underestimated a few of the title.

I think it's because those were the only PS3's being sold. That or there were only like 10,000 of them.

Don't fool yourself into thinking the demand for the 80gb ps3 bundle is even a smidgon of the demand for the Wii. That would be folly. Say you believe it's true and I'll show you you're wrong, but if that happens, I reserve the right to an "I told you so" segment of that epic post.

Great Wii numbers, as always. Selling twice as much as the competition combined is phenomenal. HD console sales are pretty dismal.

Because unlike the other consoles, the Wii appeals to casual gamers, as well as Nintendo loyalists.

Also, most of its great games are the best of this generation, and are quite exclusive to the console, forever.

Not to mention its great price point.

...and motion controls.

Did I mention it has the highest rated Mario game ever?

I'm sure VC sold a few units, too.

Also, the Wii's poor library myth is greatly exxagerated.

Oh yeah, and a lot of Wii owners think the Wii is the best console this gen, due to the fact that it actually improved on more fronts than graphics and online gaming, which are relatively unimportant to many people.

It also launched with a game called Wii Sports, which is the defining game of this generation.

Word of mouth is also fantastic for the Wii.

Also, the Wii is a public gaming console, not only for single people to set in a room and play alone.

The real question is how could anyone who knows anything about marketing not expect Nintendo to blow the pants off all the traditional competition, with its new univerally appealing console, that took the world by storm.

Maybe your hatred of the Wii has blinded you to all but the fact that the Wii doesn't appeal to you.

However, for some reason, the 360 doesn't appeal to you either does it, even though it is clearly the superior console on all fronts except reliability.

It seems that all your talk is aimed at furthering the PS3 agenda. I know you were warned not to follow Wii posts around and troll them. So, I suggest you take that warning seriously.
