Along with Ace Combat and DMC, it seems Sony has lost another exclusive game to the 360.

My question to you is..what game will be next?  I have a number of candidates, but I think it is interesting that Sony is losing Japanese exclusives even though PS3 is doing better than 360 in Japan.

The three deadliest blows would be completely losing GTA, FF, and MGS to Microsoft completely, but Sony is not near that point yet.

What else is up for grabs with a bit of money and/or persuasion (i.e. stronger sales..).

Aww. I wanted Katamari... Damn. I wonder if that rules out the possibility of it being on the Wii. Most likely... Damn you MS and your trying to appeal to a larger audience crap...

you cant really lose a real exclusive as it would be under contract, so what they lost were games they did not care about.

why pay for exclusives if you can make them your self and get 100% of the profits, seems to be their current school of thought.

What has sony got left? Realistically, I mean. We all know games like Ratchet and Clank won't go to MS, because they are sony property.

So realistically, FF and MGS are the only big names left on the table that have been announced as PS3 games that may see a cross platform release on the 360. Of those 2, MGS is the most likely to jump ship. And if it does jump ship, the likelyhood of FF jumping ship rises astronomically.

I believe that the Kingdom Hearts franchise is headed Wii's direction, personally, but I wouldn't stake my reputation on it.

To sum it up, I think we're done seeing PS3 exclusive games jump to 360, at least for a while.

My KH to Wii comment is basically just a fanboy pipe dream, based on the statement square made many moons ago about supporting all the platforms equally. Thats also why I don't see FF jumping ship unless the ship is already at the bottom of the ocean, as SquareEnix has a 360 game in development (that looks really sharp too.)

Kingdom Hearts hasn't been announced for any system. SquareEnix has said that they plan on supporting all three platforms equally. At the moment, most of their announced support is for the PS3. This means that either:

1) They were lying, and they just said that to soothe angry customers who did not have a PS3

2) The games that are planned for the 360/Wii are still early in development and have not been announced.

If the latter is true, Kingdom Hearts would fit the bill perfectly for 360/Wii development. I would personally suspect the 360, actually, as Kingdom Hearts is an American-heavy RPG (more than 2/3 of its sales came from America), and if you're planning on supporting the 360 at all, this would be the right type of game, as it's an American-heavy system. The Wii also makes sense though: it's certainly the most kid friendly of the three consoles, and Kingdom Hearts is a more kid-friendly game.

i suppose that means a delay for katamari on wii rather than no katamari period. that i have no problem with, thankfully.

When did DMC become 360 exclusive? I thought it become multiplattform. Sony has Heavenly Sword and God of War that is similiar so Sony probably did not want to pay for DMC. The ps3 is draining money :D
