Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo Power's top 20 for each Console and Handheld

Elite Beat Agents doesn't deserve #1.

Where's the games like Earthbound and Super Mario RPG on SNES?

How do games like Super monkey Ball make it and not Tales of Symphonia?

This is very dissapointing NP.

Around the Network

N64 was a good list.

WHAT!!? how can there be no Donkey Kong Country for SNES!?

Switch Friend Code - 3664 - 9964 - 9777

Smash Ultimate Alias - Happy Lion

Mains: Donkey Kong, King K. Rool, Diddy Kong

has anyone played nights? Is it very good? I'm surprised to see it so high

No F-Zero GX?

Around the Network

Chrono Trigger is relatively low in the list.

How is Yoshi's Island not better than Super Mario World? Grah! I also consider the lack of Perfect Dark on the N64 list an insult, especially in light of what else is there.

C'mon guys... the Wind Waker is No#1 at the Cube!

Master Mii Artisan

Fucking hell, seeing that pic of Windwaker makes me want to play the game again!!...

Looks fucking sweet still... After 5 years! Better then any Wii game t.b.h!

Also, where's Eternal Darkness on the GC-list :-S...

Hrm...Well, the big surprises for me were:

The lack of Donkey Kong Country (1 or 2) and Super Mario RPG on the SNES list (although it is an extremely competitive list).

The lack of Banjo Kazooie on the N64 list (In my opinion Rare's best offering on the N64).

The lack of F-Zero GX and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance on the GCN list.

The absurdly high position of Nights and Secret Rings on the Wii list (Boom Blox and Okami deserve much higher).

Dude you're not shitting.... sorry but how the fuck can Nintendo Power of all magazines have a top 20 list of SNES games and NOT include any of the following:

1. NONE of the DKC games... the first of which practically won the 16-bit gen for Ninty single handedly and helped stave off competition from the impending launch of the 32-bit gen.

2. Super Mario RPG... Ninty and Squaresoft's perfect lovechild... seriously, WTF?

3. Star Fox... i don't think gamers even KNEW what polygons were before this beast was released.

4. Earthbound... ever the fan favorite and a classic in its own right.

And as an added insult to injury bonus from the N64 list... NO BANJO KAZOOIE!  I still have the June '98 issue and Banjo Kazooie was one of the highest rated N64 games by Nintendo Power at the time... how they can have Rocket: Robot on Wheels on the list and not BK is beyond me.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
