Hrm...Well, the big surprises for me were:

The lack of Donkey Kong Country (1 or 2) and Super Mario RPG on the SNES list (although it is an extremely competitive list).

The lack of Banjo Kazooie on the N64 list (In my opinion Rare's best offering on the N64).

The lack of F-Zero GX and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance on the GCN list.

The absurdly high position of Nights and Secret Rings on the Wii list (Boom Blox and Okami deserve much higher).

Dude you're not shitting.... sorry but how the fuck can Nintendo Power of all magazines have a top 20 list of SNES games and NOT include any of the following:

1. NONE of the DKC games... the first of which practically won the 16-bit gen for Ninty single handedly and helped stave off competition from the impending launch of the 32-bit gen.

2. Super Mario RPG... Ninty and Squaresoft's perfect lovechild... seriously, WTF?

3. Star Fox... i don't think gamers even KNEW what polygons were before this beast was released.

4. Earthbound... ever the fan favorite and a classic in its own right.

And as an added insult to injury bonus from the N64 list... NO BANJO KAZOOIE!  I still have the June '98 issue and Banjo Kazooie was one of the highest rated N64 games by Nintendo Power at the time... how they can have Rocket: Robot on Wheels on the list and not BK is beyond me.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
