Does anyone have sales data for any of the games? VGChartz only has sales data for Silent Hill 1 out of the entire series, and it's only resting at 300k.

The survival horror genre just seems more niche, since not everyone likes buying these types of games.

Thier numbers arent completly accurate and they dont have sales for all of them. Im not saying theyve sold amazing but theyve gotten above average reviews and have obviously sold well because theyve made 3 or 4 if you count this one.

Uhm where did silent hill came from?

There arent alot of survival horror games......at least not that I can think of. All the good series are being developed on. This game will sell the new silent hill game will sell well no one has to say that RE5 will sell.

I kind of randomly popped Silent Hill in there. It's a great survival horror game according to many, but I don't believe it's sold millions of copies.

I'm actually really disappointed from what I've seen in RE5. More like an action zombie shooter than the traditional RE...and the daylight really kills the atmosphere. I hope most of the game isn't in that light.

It would be nice to have someone pull up some numbers on the Fatal Frame series, it might give us an idea as to how well the new one will sell. The Wii does have a smaller user-base than the PS2...but we can probably find a good guess.

They don't have to sell in the millions to warrant a sequel, but warranting a sequel doesn't necessarily mean it's not a niche title. =P

And if people consider MGS4 a niche title with all those sales...well I really don't know what a niche title means anymore.

Wikipedia has got its at 250,000. Silent Hill 1. Didnt bother to look at the rest....my head hurts.

Im dissappointed thats its not coming to Wii and the main character. He looks gay (not literal) and that its in Africa. Im fine with the daylight.

True about the million sequel thing....well that was back then now your probably do since games cost so damn much.

I wouldnt mids it looking like that its creepy and dirty grainy feel. I like it. Though I just saw those really clean screens so im not sure...
