I tried playing Soul Calibur 3 on the ps2 and it sucked major ass

seriously

I couldn't press (melee) and (horizontal) at the same time without pressing (vertical)

Wavebird is a great controller and I hated the N64 one terrible analog and the 3 prong thing was stupid.

Still my fave controller from last gen was the Xbox S controller/Dreamcast controller

Loved it, melted right into my hands perfectly. My only complaint was the color scheme of the buttons. Made it look to toyish to leave out around the house. They really got their home electronics style together with the Wii tho.

Probably my favorite. I fell in love with the wavebird as soon as I touched it.

If there were Wii games designed around the GC controller, I would probably want to buy a lot more software for my Wii. The GC controller rocked -- more devs should forget the Wiimote gimmick and design games for the Wii that work with it.

My preference is for the PS2 last gen (Much better IMO than the dualshock 1 cuz they made the analog stick stiffer to move) but the GCN is a close second due to having a superior analog stick with great positioning, and in 3 would be the Dreamcast, worst was the Xbox duke, used it once and my hand was one big cramp.

Besides some minor gripes about the control pad and the Z button, it was a comfortable and well structured controlled. Easily one of the best.

It was pretty good. I still use it when I play my Wii. Not saying it is the best though.
