Today Web site 4Chan.org is speculating that Microsoft is planning to unveil "My GamerPad" at E for All.

This "mix of the Mii Channel and Home" is purported to be a similar online community to Sony's PlayStation Home.

Needless to say, until Microsoft execs make some type of official announcement this is being dubbed just another Internet rumor.

I heard those apartment things really took off and people spent a bunch of time on them.

I doubt this is real, it's probably some person uploading their own little game to make it look like a competitor to Home using XNA creators club.

I'm not convinced until E3 anyway.

Just about everyone thats gone hands-on with Home says it is essentially just a boring waste of resources designed to promote micro-transactions.

I don't see why you think a Microsoft version would be any better.  Granted they may do software better than Sony, but an idea that doesn't work for consoles is still and idea that doesn't work for consoles regardless of which company makes it.
