It seems that the Wii's Million sellers come mostly from established brand names. But the Wii is also the one that has MUCH more Million sellers up their sleeves and Nintendo is apparently the best one at creating new IP's. And since they have a larger userbase it is a given that the software will sell much more.

My guess would be the Wii.

Let's be careful throwing around the word best shall we. Big Brain, Mari Strikers, Link's Crossbow, etc. may sell like gangbusters, but qualitywise they're nowhere near new IP's available elsewhere. Bishock, Mass Effect, Uncharted, ...

Overall the million sellers count will shift in the Wii's favor, but it will still be a long drawn out battle with the 360 which whill finish second.

How can you argue this? The basis behind such an arguement is purely subjective. He has the numbers on his side, the only way we have to measure quality over a large number of people is the sales numbers. To argue that such games are better and these games suck despite the sales figures is basing your arguement solely on opinion. The arguement that nintendo is the best at designing IPs is based on sales and therefore unless someone else has more sales, or you find another valid measuring stick, your arguement holds no water.

As such I think that posing such an arguement with no credible evidence, as you've done, amounts to trolling and is in violation of the CoC. Your opinion is not a legit arguement in this case.

As for PS3 vs. 360, I can see this gap closing, not sure if the PS3 will catch the 360 though. I'd give it a 50-50 chance.

For that to happen, the PS3 would have to have at least 20 exclusive million sellers from now on. Any multiplatform that sells 1 million+ on the PS3 will sell as much or more on the X360. The Wii on the other hand can certainly do that.

According to Vg, the number of million sellers on each console at the moment are:

wii- 25

360- 41

PS3- 15

By the looks of things, i think it will be pretty close between 360 and the wii. I still wouldn't rule out the PS3 yet, though.

LMAO wow where did the uinholy amount of 360's came from, is MS planning to sell a 360 for fifty dollars?

Actually come to think of it. The DS will have the most million sellers. I think we all just assumed console excluded handhelds.

360 will have the most. They have an amazing attach ratio, especially since people on this forum say they count refurbished consoles as sales, so the actual number of people who have xboxs is less than the sales numbers, thus bumping up the attach ratio, and thus making the large number of million sellers even more amazing. Especially considering the stigma of rrod.

360 will make a good fist of it...

PS3 will taking up the rear position, probably not coming too far behind the 360...It will be tight though
