Forums - Microsoft Discussion - So which less hyped exclusives are going to be full of awesome?

Velvet Assassin - Looks like it has at least a moderate amount of win. It looks like a cool stealth/action game. A good solid 80's game that hopefully will be fun for the players and make money back for the developers so they can make more of them.

Captain Blood: Looks like an interesting change of pace, theres some potential here as both a multiplayer game and single player. Art direction looks good but the fidelity is a little low compared to other games available. It was an Xbox1 game that never made it out.

Dead Island: Looks pretty good if you liked Dead rising especially as it also has an open world to explore and probably lots of walking dead. Looks pretty nice both artistically and graphicly. Looks like a solid 80's candidate anyway.

Huxley: A MMOFPS - Looks really well made, the designers look like they've got their heads screwed on right. This is definately one game with potential for the 360. 50 player matches RFOM2? Pffft, think 200! Looks slick graphically and the vibe im getting sounds like if they nail the little details Starcraft could be adding another 90+ game to the Xbox360 list.

Sacred 2: Looks like a cross between Oblivion/Diablo 2 with online coop play. Huge world, with a lot of care taken to craft this game. It looks like it could be a fun romp for 2 players. Graphically looks good and a lot of care and attention has been given to this game, so expect quality.

Too Human

This game hangs on a knife edge, it seems it'll either be a fastastic AAA 87+ game or it'll sink down to the mid 70's and be overshadowed by the big hitters. The link has some explanation of the all important Coop mode and details why theres only 2 player Coop and not the promised 4. Looks like it "could" be a great entry drug for a lot of people to first experience the Xbox360. One thing going for it, its not going up against the "big three" in Left 4 Dead - Gears of war 2 - Fable 2, all slated to come out October-December.

So what do you think? Are we looking at some surprise hits or just the dregs that don't float to the top in terms of quality?

Tease.

I have high hoped for Dead Island.

The grafix look good, and I love that it's open world.

Well 360 wise its a game called Project Offset....

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

well for me too human huxley and velvet are hyped..... maybe not like an halo or a gow is... but they are more than the majority of the library IMO.... the simple fact they are talked about by MS at E3 or during other press conference interview and showcases means they are hyped... at least it's what I think....

now I'm going to read your links and tell you what I think when I have more time

It's funny how only 1 one those games is an actual Xbox360 exclusive

Dead Island...point --> blank____and simple :)

only too human interests me from those games, i think it could be 85+ game

Wii/Mario Kart Wii Code:2793-0686-5434

what exactly is hype anyway?

I'm personally keeping my eye out on Dead Island and Sacred 2 (both for the PC).

I have a feeling Velvet Assassin will disappoint a lot of people (but I would love to be wrong).

let me guess pc...... well it's still exclusive... stop saying 360 exclusive it's MS exclusive..... if they pay for an exclu why shouldn't they use it for both their platform XB and MSW ????? that argument is old and doesn't stand... it is exclusive you can take it any way you want.....

trust me if nintendo and sony had a OS distribution they'd do exactly the same...
