I suggest you people rent the game...you may like it. If you like Resident evil 1, 2 and 3 on ps1 with a touch of GTA this game is great.

All of the RE games before RE4 have not aged very well so that is probably why Alone in the Dark is supposably bad

True, but thats mostly because of contols.

This doesn't control anything like resident evils. It does have static camera angles for some parts and it does give you the same "its difficult to shoot the enemy" feeling old RE games did. But that just ads to the tension... It also has amazing scenes like this...

Whoa! Alone with Drake's Fortune looks awesome!

My Top 5:

Shadow of the Colossus, Metal Gear Solid 3, Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, Chrono Trigger

My 2 nex-gen systems: PS3 and Wii

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.

Another game bites the dust. Looks like Vampire Rain has been eclipsed for crapness.

ouch, but i still might get it for wii

tag:"reviews only matter for the real hardcore gamer"

This is it. This is the end. Not of Atari, but of the last crap that is pre-Harrison. From now on, we can assume that most or all games made by Atari are Harrison approved; they're going the social gaming route.

Phil will right this ship, I have faith.

Maybe you're right, Bod. I always loved this game. Maybe they could expand upon it.

Didn't he become President on March 3rd? This one falls on his shoulders, sorry.
