 A flop on the Wii is easier on the budget than a flop on the PS3 though. I still say the smart money has this game on the Wii currently though. Kojima's next project is supposed to be a Wii game, so if it gets announced soon it will almost certainly be a Wii game. Of course after the Wi game is announced (and I doubt it will be ZoE3) my stance will have to be re-evaluated.

 No soriku it hasnt been 2 years yet..

The ps3 by 2 years time would have sold 15-16 million units..also if the PS3 sold 17 million from now to the end of 08 it wont be 25 but be 30-31 million.

 He has also expressed great interest is making a Wii game. Too bad in the real world not all Wii games have to be casual huh?

I don't think it was advertised well,because I've never heard about it until recently.

 

Well, the original Zone of the Enders came with the MGS2 demo.  That's pretty good advertising, if you ask me. :P

Yes...because the Wii is all casuals right? Just like the DS? And Kojima said HE WAS GOING TO MAKE GAMES FOR OTHER CONSOLES JUST RECENTLY.

 

Its not all casuals, its mainly casual, Ive argued about this before I wont say anything else.

Also he never said anything about another platform, he said he was wanting to jump on to other " PROJECTS".

CVG: What are your impressions of Nintendo Wii and how did Snake appear in Smash Brothers?

Kojima: I’ve played Tennis, Zelda and Mario on Wii. I find Tennis very interesting. I played the early version but the E3 version is far more advanced. As a game designer, I’m very interested in creating something for the Wii. I’d like to run away from MGS 4 creation and create something for the Wii but unfortunately, I don’t have anything that I can announce at the moment. I have lots of ideas for Wii but I have a heavy schedule with MGS 4 and Metal Gear Online. Concerning Snake’s appearance on Wii in Smash Brothers, I’m friends with the designer of the game and I thought it would be nice if you could play as Snake - when I heard about the new game last year, I contacted the designer and we started working together.

That was back in 2007.  There are a number of quotes and such in interviews where he says this.  Note how he says he wishes he could run away from what many people consider his masterpiece back then.

I don't know man. ZOE2 for PS2 used MGS2's graphic's Engine. so ZOE3 on PS3 is likely since they can use MGS4's engine and won't start from scratch.

Well I agree almost with Soriku for 100%

But I don't want it on the Wii because I see the possibility that it will only be playable with the Remote controls and their are not so many games I love with the Wii remote controls and a game like ZoE would be very hard to play it with (Like Lego SW).

But I think Kojima really does not care about the Userbase when he see the sales of MGS4 =p.

And a game like ZoE well call me biased but I would love it to see it on the X360 or PS3 because of the graphics ^^''..

I'd rather see it on the PS3 (or 360) as opposed to the Wii. The second one was quite the improvement over the first one and I'd love to see some amazing visuals with tons of effects, allies, and enemies littering the screen. I'd really want to see more battles like the one that occurs near the end of the second game. My jaw literally dropped when I started that part.
