It's a very fine Gamecube to play Gamecube games. That was 98% of the use when I owned a Wii.

1.) Two words: Wii Homebrew - PSP, DS and the other consoles may have homebrew running for them, but the sheer variety of things that can be done using the Wii controls go way beyond what you can do with dual joysticks. Homebrew is also where you find a LOT of the

2.) Controls - PS3 and 360 may draw a lot of their games from PC games, but Wii actually has the controls that make those PC games enjoyable to play on a console. 3rd party developers may be sitting on their thumbs in this aspect, but they will get there eventually.

3.) First Party Games - Zelda, Metroid, Mario, Brawl, Kart. Nintendo still hasn't tapped on Pikmin, Star Fox, and many other of their awesome IPs.

4.) Girls - Yeah, girls play on the Wii. Interacting with girls is always a good thing.

5.) There's other stuff, but it'd take too long to list it all out.

A: It's all about Zelda. Unless you're under 12 years old, or have an obsession with shovelware.

Let's also say that if you have a PC, your next purchase should be a Wii. It's the cheapest console, and the one which will bring you the most additional games since there aren't many PC/Wii games.

Other than that, is more about what do you want, you can count Blu-ray Player as advantage of the PS3, but if someone don't care about that it counts for nothing (The same goes for any other "advantage") so ends up in whatever you like...

It's really dependent on the person. To me it has the best lineup of games this generation.

I'm on pace to shatter my PS2 total PS2 games owned... and my PS2 library is pretty considerable. Larger then the "Games owened" button here reflects actually. (Listed i have 62 PS2 games.)

Besides that the excellent first party titles, no true hardcore gamer would resist a combination of Zelda, SMG, and MP3 and if you want some multiplayer neverending feast SSBB + MKWii.

Has BC with all the NES, SNES, N64, GC, Genesis, Turbograf and NEO GEO games (I may miss another platform).

Will have connectivity with the DS.

WiiWare titles exclusive to Wii majorly.

Wii Fit + Wii Sports + Wii Play chick magnet + hours of fun.

New way of controlling games with motion sensitive controls, IR pointer and pressure controls.

Has some pretty cool channels integrated to it.

The Wiimote has a speaker, built in vibration, motion sensitive controls, built-in memory, an IR camera and the complete mote+nunchuck is a control with 2 parts.

Nintendo will release a lot of its biggest franchise in the near future and 3rd party devs will develop exclusive games for the Wii, as we've already seen. Still the Wii will get some big multiplats.

It's cheaper, smaller, lighter, has a cool blue light, has built in wi-fi, uses less energy, doesn't heat at all and makes very little noise.

You can use a classic controller or a GC controller for alternate control choices.

And the last one, it's winning this gen, and it feels good.
