I don't hear much about the game on this site at all.  It seems to be getting reviewed as well as Boom Blox, which would make it one of the best games released on the Wii thus far.  Has anyone played Blast Works here, and what do you think of it?

I'm planning on getting it, but haven't just yet. I've got some money shortage since we're moving into a new apartment. Afterwards, I should be able to get it, especially since Alone in the Dark is sounding like a non-purchase...

They need to get its name out more... Sad to say, but I originally thought this was just another name for Boom Blox. Until I saw both at an electronics store...

Yeah, seems to me this title is suffering from a severe lack of retail support. I also see a lot of "I'm planning to get it later," or "I'll get it when the price drops," posts. Add in the fact that scrolling shooters have become very niche and, well, this title was not destined for greatness. :(

I need to hear more about it before I think about a purchase.

Just picked up Geometry Wars for $10 so that'll do for shooters for while.

You could try Tumiki Fighters first..

Blast works is based on this game.. & its freeware!!
