with FFXIII, KZ2, GoW3, RE5 and other great games it will sell MUCH more then 10 mln. =))

2009.04.30 - PS3 will OUTSELL x360 atleast by the middle of 2010. Japan+Europe > NA.


Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

 

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

PS3 may reach 5 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 50k.
PS2 2001 vs PS3 2008 sales numbers =) + New games released in Japan by 2009 that passed 100k so far

Sorry, but 3 of those games aren't announced this for this fiscal year and one is a multiplat. I do see the ps3 selling 10 mIn though.

Ps3 is going to sold about 5 million in the first half of 2008 without christmas. Fiscal 2008 will be way higher than 10 million

I predict that the PS3 continues to outsell the 360,even with all their AAA games out.

last year they started predicting psp would sell 9 million however it sold 13 million so there you go,they can actually (if there is a price drop) sell more than 14 million this fiscal year

Based on current trends PS3 sales should exeed predictions , like others have already said Sony are being conservative , previous quaters I remember Sony signifcantly over estimating sales numbers.

This E3 everyone will drop guns , big guns , not only Nintendo . IMO this E3 could easily be a tie , because all of them will want to show the best . However it goes , only us gamers will have something to win :) :P
