i think mario main series not spin-offs is my favorite series, except for sunshine each one was amazing and revolutionary

Tier 2 quality:
Resident Evil, Castlevania, and Metal Gear
Tier 3 quality:
Silent Hill, Dragon Quest, Grand Theft Auto, Shin Megami Tensai, Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden, Metroid, and Fire Emblem
I'm assuming the series need at least 4 entries to be considered.

Also, it only has 3 entries, which barely qualifies as a series. It's tier 3, imo, if it qualified.
