1 million has almost no chance of happening. I would imagine somewhere above 200k, but below 500k. My official guess would be about 280k

i think this game will sell a lot, simply because of demographic reasons. due to it's price, the ps3 has mostly been sold to hardcore gamers, but they are not really the crowd for such a game. and the casuals won't buy a ps3 because of that game because that'd be too expensive.

Maybe it's just me, as I know some golf games have sold well in the past...

Never thought of golf as a game for hard core gamers... and never thought of the PS3 as a system for anything besides hard core gamers.... I don't think there really are enough people interested in golf that that will go for graphics over experience (ie: wii versions of golf) to sell 100k in Japan... I guess, if you take into account so few games for PS3 owners to choose from, it might sell decent.

Unfortunately, HSG5 won't be PS3's SSBM!
