Actually here is some proof that your statement is false.
here is the list of averages of ds games ratings

Now lets count how many square enix games are over 80%.
2 games, Yep 2 games out of the 42 games on that list over 80 are from square enix.

Now lets look at games 70 and above, since 80 is above average and 70 is about average. 8 games. 8 games out of 116. So seriously where is your proof that only square enix games on the ds are good?

Btw I'm a big square enix fanboy, and bought almost all of their ds games.

PSP as media player - it gets utterly abused by Apple and the iPod. Not even funny.

You know , its actually funny that you are talking again without knowing no straight facts :

The Ipod managed to sell l~ 11 million units in 3 years , while the PSP passed the 30 million mark . So where are you actually getting your numbers from ? And as a gaming device , like it or not it is the first one that ever managed to get a significant market % from Nintendo , even now heaving almost 1/3 of the entire market ...

So yeas , the PSP went on a different rute , managing to somehow have a different market than the core market of the DS or Ipod , and thats how they managed to ship over 36 million units to date .
