Sony has to choices here.
PSP as gaming machine - it gets beaten by Nintendo and DS badly
PSP as media player - it gets utterly abused by Apple and the iPod. Not even funny.
So Sony, which do you want to be? A good second place finish or a laughingstock? Your choice.
