Hope there's no topic like this already.  Anyways ya know I first thought when Rock Band Wii was announced that it'd be kinda a miss given the circumstances.  But this game really has a lot of positive hype going for it.  Awesome advertising, strong GH sales to push it, and a strong summer release.  I mean its really surprising me how much EA is pushing this title, despite the lack of online which has been the only real negative hype against it. 

So predict first week sales and LTD sales.

1st Week- 100k

LTD- 750k

I'm probably going to bite my lip on that LTD prediction, but I think Rock Band 2 will stop sales of that abruptly before it can hit a holiday season and get more sales.

think Gh has the genre sewn up on the Wii and it hasn't even started yet. GH Aerosmith is the first Wii GH game you can buy if you already have a Wii controller and there's another 2 announced with GH4 having DLC.

Think it may struggle so i reckon 60K first week 250 - 300k lifetime

pretty late into the lifespan of the game.. I'm going to say 125K and 700K LT.

I doubt it will sell well to be honest, GH4 (with downloadable content and better brand recognition) will kill sales of RB.

500k lifetime maybe

Oh, and Zucas, sorry to nitpick, but LTD means life to date
So RockBand Wii LTD sales = 0 because it has not released

Not having a Rock Band for the Wii until now, and putting such little effort into it, was a horrible mistake by Harmonix.

GH4 is already announced and the Wii version looks like it will be superior to Rock Band. The market for these games will be larger on the Wii than on either the 360 or PS3. Harmonix left the opening for GH4 to dominate in sales on the Wii.

As many Rock Band owner have said, they only want one set of fake instruments cluttering their living room. For Wii owners, they will most likely be GH4 instruments.

I don't think I have seen a formal announcement, but the GH4 drum kit had 3 pads and 2 cymbals.  The Rockband kit has 4 drum pads.
