the fact you guys are comparing MGS4 to Crysis IS QUITE FUNNY. For crysis, the look lies on the type of hardware you have. On A $2000 PC crysis looks better than MGS4, but on the 400 PC, you just cant play crysis period.

Lol you do realize that you could build a $400 pc that could play crysis on medium.

The XBOX 360 can play crysis on medium high settings

The developers said that it could.

so medium settings gets you what, a little better than Haze. For those who's played Crysis, can you truly tell me the game looks like on your pc.

And $100 more and you got the cost of a ps3, allowing you to run it on high. And no medium settings is not equivalent to haze.

This is how the game Crysis looks like (highest settings):

That is a big huge difference.

currently there is no screen shots of Crysis with any GPU younger then then 8800Ultra.

Ahhh, the good ol' "You need a thousands dollars PC to run games" argument. It never gets old ^_^

Here is your thousands dollars Personal Computer.

For less than $400.

And Crysis, even on medium low settings, looks better than any console game to date.

/thread now?

ssj12,

"currently there is no screen shots of Crysis with any GPU younger then then 8800Ultra. "

That doesn't matter, as long as you've taken the screens at the highest settings. A stronger GPU cant change that fact (as long as it doesn't add anything to image quality, which not even the 280GTX seems to do. And even if it did, the effect would be minor). The only thing a stlong GPU does is to increase framerate, and make the game playable in real use at highest settings.

I love the fact you guys you can build your own pc, however, how many people can. That's why i hate pc gaming, it always makes feel like you're behind every year.

No it doesnt.. My computer happens to be able to run crysis at that setting, so no dont even go there, far cry 2 looks better than crysis at medium low, and so does MGS4, and uncharted.

mM

I still want to know who's actually played crysis?

What's wrong with the korean's face? It's extremely detailed, you can notice the sweat pores. It would be even much better if they were actually using AA or higher resolution when they took the pic. Maybe it was not even at full Very High settings.

And for the record, in videogames, henchmen are always less detailed than main characters.
