You like the show and movies? Um ok. |
I don't know, it just didn't seem as great as everybody made it out to be. The combat system was pretty well-done though. I am not a big fan of FFVI either. Its not that I don't like SNES RPG's (I loved Super Mario RPG and FF IV), I just really didn't think those two titles were as good as everyone claims them to be.
And seriously, those of you who think that Pokemon is the best RPG should play some more RPG's. I loved Pokemon in my day, and spent a lot of time playing it, but seriously, I wouldn't even consider nominating it for the best RPG ever.
We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke
It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...." Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Bethesda already stated they're removing all mature themes from Fallout 3, except something about canibalism (probably just 1 quest).
I can't believe some people still think Bethesda are good developers after Oblivion and what they're doing to Fallout 3.

And rightfully so. Oblivion was very disappointing

The World Ends With You. I'm not sure about the rest that I've played since once I played TWEWY I can't go back to praising inferior storylines in storyline-based games. And not only did they make the storyline amazing, they had to make the battle system, art style, music style, and character development top-notch and unique too.
Before I played it I thought games like Chrono Trigger were actually "great". How wrong I was, now that I have seen a true masterpiece.
