True, COD4 is the game i played most on XBOX live..

But you to accept this, if GTAIV was PS3 exclusive , most of the fans here would have called it "the best game in the series,blah,blah,blah..."

@eliasg

really??

I wouldn't have.....frankly its just a terribly hyped game that disappoints

We aren't calling LAIr or HAZE good games

Sales wise it is doing great. Did it move hardware? No. I think the reason GTA IV didn't move hardware is because it wasn't an exclusive. If it had been an exclusive for either the PS3 or 360. Microsoft or Sony would be laughing there way to the bank. I would bet that if MGS4 wasn't an exclusive it would not have move as much hardware as it did.

As for the game itself being a disappointment, I completely disagree. This was easily the best GTA game. Up until this weeks release of MGS4 I could not stop playing it. I had more fun playing GTA IV then I did playing GTA III, GTA: VC, GTA: SA, GTA, LCS, and GTA: VCS. The story is well thought out and very well written, all the cut scenes move the story well with out being boring. That is something I can't completely say about MGS4 as some of the cut scenes have had useless info and have been dragged out (typical MGS). GTA IV is great, so it didn't move hardware that is because it wasn't exclusive.

 so true...

Well.. is that really true GTA:S.A.>>GTA4 ? Well I don't own a copy yet since I'm planning to get a copy when I get a PS3. I love how S.A. was so vast in how you can play it, but the problem is I feel nauseated at the graphics. The blurs were too much, but I played it all to the end. :D

don't be ridiculous....GTA 4 completely destroys everything that we loved about GTA SA..

Why do you think we praise COD4 day & night....is that a PS3 exclusive?

 But hey if MGS4 wasn't a exlcusive I bet you wouldn't be praising it day and night.

Based on many forum views/opinions GTA IV would not be worth buying. (if you have not bought it yet). I guess there are a lot of people disappointed with GTA IV.
Rockstar must of bought some reviews. Those high reviews were not deserved. An average review score of around the mid to high eighties would of been reasonable.
