similar to your last "prediction" thread in that is is vastly implausable.

I will ignore 1st day sales and concentrate on week 1.

Japan: 300-400k
Europe/other: 400-500k
Americas: 200-300k

1st week sales: 900-1200k

Max 1500k if it suprises me in America.

PS3 hardware will be lucky if it manages 300k WW never mind 500k. I expect more like 200-250k

 Considering it has been confirmed that in Japan first day sales of the game is 300k without the bundles your estimation is off. Japan will at least be 600 - 700k for first week.

You expect it to DOUBLE first days sales?
I didn't realise the first day did not include the bundle though.

I am not sure about the bundles then, but as my edit says, if first days sales are 300k I expect 1st week will be 400-450k, so add the bundle onto that if you wish.

i think thats a bit high,both for first day and first week,maybe more like 1.3 mil first day and 2 mil first week

Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

 Does it need to be saved? The gap with xbox360 is closing everyday(now its 5,5 mil), so stop trolling.

On topic: 600k - Japan

               750k- Europe/other

               750k- America

               Totally: 2.1mln first week(bundles not included)!

Its my prediction for the first week

Crazzyman, pwned?

MGS4 first week sales will be 500k.  This title is very front-loaded, but the bundles will help it get close if not exactly on 500k.
