depends, if the game is GOOD enough, then it will get a 10.

if not, they won't. IGN is one of the most respected game-review site online, if not THE best.

Definitely not...JRPG's scores have gradually been dropping over the years.  Seems like most of your game reviewers now days don't care for RPG's much.  If a RPG gets over an 80% then it's most likely the equivalent of a 90% for a shooter.

Lbp is a new franchise I don't think it will get a 10 right away it can get a high score but a 10 is really unlikely.

Killzone one got a 7.5 from ign if it sequel is better it will probably get around 8-9 the highest but 10 no way.

Resistance got a 9.1 but then again reviewers expect a lot more from sequels of a game so I there is little chance this will get a 10.

I think all this games are more about the hype but then again I am not sure they could turn out to be masterpieces or end up just like Lair.

Every game has the potential to get a 10, if it's good enough, judging by things such as "it's a new game"... or "its first game isn't that great" just states that you think IGN is flawed

what's the highest score a Final fantasy has ever had, as far as i am concern, we knew few things about this game to claim it will get a ten, unless you think IGN gives 10 to really hyped PS3 games.

Well poor kingdom hearts 2 got a 7.8 from ign for not being as good as it's prequel.Anyways do you know any new franchise that it's first game got a 10 right away?

 92.767 is the highest on gamerankings. It is also the highest rated jrpg.  I don't know about ign though.

it's impossible to say at the moment. If it's good it will get a 10, simple as that.
