preview of Bioshock (review of the demo in fact)

+ video

So, can someone tell me if Bioshock is coming on PS3 ?

I think it is NO, but im  not able to get a recent link about that

thx you

Some websites have claimed it's coming to the PS3 but 2K Games themselves have stated they currently have no plans to bring it to the PS3.  At X06 Microsoft announced the game as exclusive to the Xbox 360 and PCs.

Just to back up MrStickball:

The Elite is different in 3 ways from the "Pro":

1) HDMI Output (Pro has options for VGA & Composite)
2) 120 gig hard drive (Pro has 20 gig)
3) It's black (pro is white)

That's it. In all other ways it is identical. There were originally some rumors of cooler running chips, but that didn't make it in.

If you want the extra HD space, the Elite is a better deal ($479) than buying a pro then upgrading the HD ($400 + $179), however the Elite is the same price as picking up a core & later adding the large HD ($300 + $179).

The HDMI port is the real benefit to the elite, as there is no other way to get that. But if your HDTV supports 1080p through the VGA input, then your gonna get the same picture quality with a Pro+VGA cable.

I might buy a 360 if so many of the games didn't release on PC as well. Condemned was amazing, but I was able to play it on PC, which did not encourage me to get a 360. The same with Bioshock and Mass Effect. Gears is an exception, but luckily my friend had a copy of that.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. I am not sure if this qualifies the PS3 development rumor, but it is the best and most recent evidence I have seen. It actually does appear to be a timed exclusive.

Edit: Hahahah, maybe I should read the bottom of the article.  Microsoft may have put some pressure on them to keep quiet about this though.  Same with Namco-Bandai and Eternal Sonata.  Still a rumor, but we will see.

From your link:

[Update: 2K Games has decided this rumor just ain't true, folks. For now. We've still got hope for an eventual port, however.]

Bioshock has no multiplayer at all which is quite dissapointing.

What is bad about this game is that developper don't have put a multiplayer mode
this is stupid
to make a big interesting campaign with a shooter game
and
not put a multiplayer mode !
the replay value would have be so bigger

Time to Work !

You guys are ridiculous.

Just because it's a first person shooter, does not mean it needs a multiplayer mode.

Maybe it would be nice, but that's up to the developers...and honestly, I don't think every FPS should boil down to how fun it is to shoot up your friends...that's not with this game should be about.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I said it was dissapointing, not that it is needed,or that the game will be a big letdown without it!

It's been awhile since I've seen a new FPS without a multiplayer mode, and it's certainly a great selling point for an FPS to have one. It also adds alot to the replay value of a game, which is important too.
