But to me the trailer looks more wipeoutish than descentish.

There is such a huge difference between Descent and Wipeout. It's seriously like comparing Goldeneye to Super Mario Kart.

Yes, and that's why I said this trailer looks not like Descent. Descent (and I suppose also Forsaken) is a full 3D exploration action game.

This trailer looks more like a racer.

Looks like a Wipeout/F-zero clone - closer to Wipeout. Could be ok, but a little worrying that the vid didn't show much actual racing - more of a "mesh viewer" :)

Reminds me of the trailers for GT series. More track and car exhibition than actual racing being shown.

I'm intersted enough to keep an eye on it.
