Gears of War 2 will bomb?

One word....NO

 That is as delusional as the topic of this thread, KZ 2 may not get a halo 3 rating but it will be 9+, it graphics are the best we've seen on a console to date and it gameplay looks very crisp based of the trailers.

I don't think GoW2 wil bomb I also don't think the game will sell excellenty without alot of MS marketing/advertising which i'm sure they will do.

^KZ2 will get perfect scores 10 out of 10 across the board. I rest my case.

KZ2 rocks. Gears of War 2 blows.

Why are people comparing KZ2 to Gears? We all know that insomniac is a much better developer so it has a greater chance of competing with Epic than Gearbox.

KZ2 vs generic shooter X is a much more fair comparison. But I think KZ2 might have a slight advantage against GSX in the graphics department but we will have to wait and see if the reviews pan out and how the game(s) play.

I was totally convinced that the OP made the thread as sarcasm in light of all the spectacular junk that Rock_on_2008 creates. The hints of sarcasm would be not only the ridiculous thread title, but the proposed review score 69/100 and the trade-mark invitation used by Rock_on: ^Discuss people

 He's not.  As a tightly honed action game, Gears has no equal.  I love Halo tons (I'm having a big get-together with friends based around it this weekend), but its' main draws are the vehicles and the multiplayer options (Zombies FTW!)  The plain shooting parts are above-average, but nowhere near as tense and exciting as Gears.
