Really? Wonder what they had to pay Microsoft for that.
Last I heard Microsoft held the exclusive patent for that feature. Hence why 360 SVR games have been the only ones to have said feature.

As long as you use different methods and go around the patent, there won't be a problem. This is probably why it's taken Sony so long to get it out. Besides, MGS4 isn't the first game to offer custom sountracks on the PS3, there are some Sony first party games that already offer them.

After the dissapointment that was firmware 2.0, I'm not getting my hopes up anymore. I'll see it when I see it.
Cool, I can finally use the billion and a half songs I have on my PS3. As for the in game XMB, also cool; now I just need some friends who are online when I am so we can talk.
