Forums - Gaming - Who has the most loyal fanbase?

by the way the answer might be microsoft after all
i mean something like RRODs shouldve been disastrous for them, but somehow people were still buying, and buying well
sony or nintendo fans might not have stood for that(but that might just be because they have higher expectations)

Yep nothing wrong. I'm sure that PS3 will sell as much as the PS2. ZZZZZZZZ
yes The ps3 did unperform by alot in its first year but in my opinion is more then making up for that this year

No way!!! It's not even close to PS2 sales. They're going to pass Microsoft but struggle doing it. Those aren't Sony kind of sales.

Its to early to say how well a console is going to do so early in its life cycle, i mean come on last year the ps3 was on a one way trip its early grave.

But to be honest if the ps3 is selling at it current rate it will not get the sales of the ps2.

However if you look to crazzy's thread about the ps3 vs ps2, then i am sure you will agree that the ps3 is not doing to bad THIS YEAR.

It just seems like the ps3 is not doing that well because of the mad wii sales

I'd agree with that but it seems as though a lot of the supposedly loyal Sony fans have gone and bought Wii's and even some XBox 360's.

or they are waiting for the console to drop in price. i mean i have never known a console to be this expensive in this stage of its life. it is selling well though for how expensive it is. Anyway i think i remember someone on this site saying something like the ps2 didnt get most of its sales untill it was like 299 or 199 USD. I can not remember tho.

ON TOPIC.

Sony an MS fans must be the most loyal for stinking with the consoles after RoDD and Bad launch

I'd argue with you but colonelstubbs wore me out. All three have very loyal fans. Let's just leave it at that. Oh, and you called me an evil Ninty fan earlier. LOL

RoDD is a bit worse than a very high price, granted the high price will make buying the system the first time around diffcult but rebuying or paying for a system that failed in a very short amount of time? If Microsoft's next system has anything like RoDD and people still buy it I'd say Microsoft has some strong fans.

holy crap its getting angry in here....i fix

If Nintendos fans are sooooooo loyal, where were they when the N64 and Gamecube were released?

Playing on their Playstations perhaps...?

Eehrm, a 10-20 million people loyal fanbase is bigger then Sony'll ever have!

Nintendo's bottom is 20 million because that's the number of followers they got. The rest is all kids and smart/bad marketing... So the rest who then bought a PS2 are now buying a Wii and are the middleground who just choose the best-selling console (and the cheapest?!).
