What would happen if you fuse a Cheesecake and a Pie together?

A pie HAS TO HAVE A LID. otherwise it is a tart (or something else entirely)

The Dutch translation thing is just a translation mishap, which happens a lot, although as the dutch word you said seems to be taart I would argue that should be translated to tart rather than pie.

A cheesecake is a cake made with cheese. It is that simple.

Pumpkin pie doesn't have a lid, so unless a pumpkin pie isn't a pie, then a cheesecake could easily be seen as a pie as well.
