no final fantasy has been only techy, all of them have plenty fantasy in them

Fantasy with a slight mix of tech is what i like.

Fantasy (FFIV/V/VI) or mixed (FFVII)

but I would prefer avoid massively techy (like FVIII)

FFVII world was perfect to me (first FF hehe)

I prefer techy games like FFX

First of all FF13 is NOT TECHY..

some people are getting this wrong..

there are 2 worlds in it....one is cocoon yes techy

the other is pulse (ye know the red-haired girl)....now she looks like she's from a tribe = more fantasy like also when in the first trailer lightning is walking through the crystal forest

so its got both in it

I want a medieval or ancient world. No guns at all...Golden hit it just right with the setting.

Actually, FFVI and FFX are half techy half fantasy. So far I´ve enjoyed all techy and half-techy FFs, but that´s not the case with all fantasy FFs, especially FFIX that I dislike. I like both medieval fantasy and science fiction, although I lean a bit more to medieval fantasy, and I consider them both to be "fantasy". As long as they make something original I will embrace it.

Fantasy style. Done right though, techy FF is also good.

A mixture of both, but I prefer more techy.
