I can see it easily hitting 5M in japan with 10M max in Japan when all is said and done. But would wide if Japan is only 5M no but if Japan somehow manages to but 10M copies then yes. But I think the marketplace has radiacally changed for games especially in Japan.

 Wasnt that Pokemon ? I know that FF games arent the most hardcore games , but they are far from beeing casual RPGs IMO ...

Nah. Pokemon can be simple, but it can also be far too complicated and unbelievable hardcore if your on the other end of it. Pokemon goes both ways basically.
