Well that and the fact that it pretty much had no effect on games that didn't have Final Fantasy in their title.

Final Fantasy is the casual man's RPG. Always has and always will be.


 Wasnt that Pokemon ? I know that FF games arent the most hardcore games , but they are far from beeing casual RPGs IMO ...
