I dunno about you guys, but I think all the lineups look pretty great, considering the balance games like Fallout 3, Facebreakers, GHIV, CoD5, GTAIV, Ghostbusters, The last Remnant, Alone in the Dark, Silent Hill, and Starwars are going to give them.

 

There is no blowout winner for best of 08, imo, and again, imo, claiming there is, is fanboyism.

 

...and certainly the PS3 isn't blowing anything away, I'm sorry.

 

Edit: I'll actually add Disgaea 3 to the PS3 lineup. Still not a clear winner by any means, but the list is very respectible. Also note that we have no idea what Nintendo's releases will be for Q3 and Q4, all of which will likely boulster the Wii list significantly.

It's not negativity I just don't like when people do things like that. He says he can definitely see how the PS3 line-up is better when it's more of a toss up between the two. No one can tell which is better for sure until all the games have been released. Do you think that is a wrong assumption on my part?

Put side by side i'm torn between the two. Good games for both but since I'v a 360 i'll have to be happy with GoW2 and Fable 2

 Lets look at it this way. So far PS3 exclusives are major hit and miss. LAIR, Heavenly Sword, Haze were all games people were absolutely sure would rock on here (well fanboys anyway). Yeah Uncharted, Resistance, Motorstorm did good but put up against the 360 list? Even GT5:P disapointed with simulation fans online. On the other hand, 360 has a very good Hit rate with their exclusives. Bioshock, Mass Effect, Halo 3, GOW, Forza 2, LO, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata(It's been exclusive for nearly a year), Dead Rising, Ace Combat 6. The 360 is more reliable with both new and old IP's so far. So when you look to the future, it's more reasonable to think that things will stay the same. Considering Haze reviews are like a couple of days old, my point sticks.

 Heavenly sword is one of the best games I ve played this gen so far and I ahve played most of the AAA games on both PS3 and 360 (heavenly sword was 7-8 hours long but and epic story with beatiful graphic and very solid gameplay.Lair was crap but heavenly sword is a different story)
