do you think final fantasy 13 will revive to ps3 sales in japan?

I think it will due to how japan loves that game. 

Easy one, nop... the game could be good, great or awesome, but one game is not going to save the PS3...

FF13 and GT5 will have the same effect on PS3 like Monster Hunter had on PSP in Japan.

I agree with Konni, the best we can realistically hope for is a boost similar to what MH gave PSP. It will by no means turn the tables in any region, but we will see a definite and noticeable boost in console sales, for a month or two.

That is of course best case scenario in my mind.

I know it won't because one game can never turn around an entire nation.

If it sold 2 million PS3's, it still wouldn't turn around anything, if by "turn around" you mean beat the Wii.

If by turn around, you mean keep from selling sub-10k weeks in Japan for the rest of its lifecycle, I also doubt it.

PS3 loosing Japan, Wii winning, FFXIII comes to save the day....

just like that FF13 will give a much needed IMAGE to Ps3....a slim and big game can do a lot {cough**DS lit & PSP slim**cough}
