I know it won't because one game can never turn around an entire nation.
If it sold 2 million PS3's, it still wouldn't turn around anything, if by "turn around" you mean beat the Wii.
If by turn around, you mean keep from selling sub-10k weeks in Japan for the rest of its lifecycle, I also doubt it.
